SPIN Global is a Maryland-based public benefit corporation that exists to disrupt disasters from neighborhoods to nations. We are seeking qualified applicants to build a deployment-ready cadre, prepared to support response operations as opportunities arise. Applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD).

‬‬‬Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct assessments of structural damage and propose sustainable repair solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop project specifications and recommendations.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and reports.
  • Participate in FEMA disaster recovery programs and contribute to the Public Assistance program.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to structural integrity and project plans.

Requirements

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in a related field and professional registration.
    • Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certification: Professional Engineer (PE).
  • FEMA Training Preferred:
    • IS-1000: Public Assistance Program and Eligibility.
    • IS-1001: The Public Assistance Delivery Model Orientation.
    • IS-1002: FEMA Grants Portal - Transparency at Every Step.
    • IS-1004: The FEMA Site Inspection Process.
    • IS-1018: Determination Memorandums and Appeals.
    • 7116: Program Delivery Manager.
    • 7117: Site Inspection.
  • Work onsite in North Carolina.
  • EOD Required.
