Location

Remote, with potential nationwide travel and disaster deployment responsibilities. Relocation to Washington, D.C., may be required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed process maps and flowcharts to document current business processes, policies, and workflows.
  • Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement optimized processes that align with organizational goals.
  • Guide and support organizational change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of new processes and recommend further refinements as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business process mapping, analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools and software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex process-related problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Business Process Management (e.g., CBPP) or Six Sigma.
  • Experience in organizational change management and resource optimization.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives in a large organization.
  • Experience in training and mentoring teams on process mapping and optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience with Chambers of Commerce financial institutions, lending agencies, non-profit groups, and government agencies.
  • Understanding of emergency management response and recovery programs.
