SPIN Global is a Maryland-based public benefit corporation that exists to disrupt disasters from neighborhoods to nations. We are seeking qualified applicants to build a deployment-ready cadre, prepared to support response operations as opportunities arise. Applicants must possess a FEMA Entry on Duty (EOD).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely transactions.

• Reconcile accounts and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.

• Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.

• Assist in the implementation of accounting software or process improvements.

• Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or a related role.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP) and financial regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• CPA certification (preferred but not required).
