Location

Remote, with potential nationwide travel and disaster deployment responsibilities. Relocation to Washington, D.C., may be required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of current DEI policies and practices, identifying gaps and areas for improvement, and presenting actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to implement, monitor, and adjust DEI strategies and programs, providing regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Design and deliver DEI training programs for employees at all levels and the community, including workshops and seminars to promote awareness and understanding of DEI issues.
  • Serve as a point of contact for DEI-related inquiries and concerns, fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace culture through effective communication and engagement strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest DEI research, trends, and best practices, incorporating findings into the development of DEI policies and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in analyzing DEI policies and practices and making data-driven recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field of study.
  • DEI Certification from a recognized organization or institution.
  • Experience working in a large, complex organization.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or advisory role within DEI initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using DEI-related software and tools.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities.
  • Familiarity with HSEEP methodology and principles.
  • Experience with community outreach and engagement.
  • Knowledge and experience with Chambers of Commerce financial institutions, lending agencies, non-profit groups, and government agencies.
  • Understanding of emergency management response and recovery programs.

Performance Expectations

  • Advisory Role: Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert recommendations and insights to clients and stakeholders.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering value.
  • Complete project work gets efficiently and satisfactory as directed by the team, the “SPIN Global Way”.
  • Ensure excellence on deliverables and maintain client satisfaction, spotting and correcting issues before they impact project timelines.
